Estudian, ensayan y representan papeles en producciones cinematográficas, televisión o radio y espectáculos escénicos.

Actors portray roles in motion pictures, television or radio productions and stage shows.

• Actuar las escenas y representar los personajes en las producciones teatrales, cine, radio y televisión tal y como se desarrollaron durante los ensayos.
• Preparar las actuaciones a través de ensayos bajo la instrucción y orientación de los Directores de producción.
• Narrar historias o leer obras literarias en voz alta para instruir o entretener a los oyentes.
• Aprender líneas y señas y tocar piezas en producciones teatrales en el escenario, anuncios publicitarios, televisión, radio o en obras cinematográficas.
• Encarnar los personajes creados por el dramaturgo o autor y ofrecer su interpretación a un público.
• Asistir a las audiciones y castings convocados para pruebas de los distintos papeles.
• Leer los guiones y realizar investigaciones que permitan comprender cabalmente las partes, temas y características del argumento.
• Desempeñar tareas afines.

Tasks include 

• reading scripts and undertaking research to gain understanding of parts, themes and characteristics;
• attending auditions and casting calls in order to audition for roles
• assuming characters created by a playwright or author and communicating this to an audience
• learning lines and cues and playing parts in dramatic productions on stage, commercials, television, radio or in motion pictures
• telling stories or reading literary works aloud to educate or entertain listeners
• preparing for performances through rehearsals under the instruction and guidance of production directors
• acting parts and portraying roles as developed in rehearsals in film, television, radio and stage productions
